Architect, Pamela Hutter’s design philosophy is centered on creating spaces for life to be lived on an extraordinary level. Home becomes both a backdrop and a springboard to catapult one into their life. “When your home supports who you are in every way, you are freer to go into the world and do extraordinary things.” Hutter explains.

As principal of Hutter Architects, Ltd., Pamela’s work as a designer and construction administrator has included numerous single family homes, townhomes, and work spaces. In Chicago she was responsible for “Carmichael Place” a 40 unit town home and courtyard project in the West Loop. She was responsible for historic renovation at residential 111 East Bellevue, Chicago, as well as for institutional clients such as Chicago Public Schools. She has designed projects in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, Arizona, and Oregon.

Hutter was recently featured on the show “New Spaces” on House and Garden Television. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois school of Architecture. She works and resides in Chicago and is an accomplished cook, home entertainer, and community preservationist. And, She enjoys relaxing at home.
